At our private, state-recognised secondary school on the Phorms Campus Berlin Süd, your child receives strong bilingual support in German and English, along with a clear focus on STEM subjects. Native-speaking teachers foster critical thinking, creativity, and personal growth. We guide each student on their path to the bilingual Abitur and prepare them for a successful future.
We give students the opportunity not only to become fluent in two languages, but also to develop valuable intercultural skills—essential for success in today’s globalised world. As part of our advanced English course in upper secondary, students can also work toward earning the internationally recognised Cambridge Advanced English Certificate."
We guide our students to the Abitur in just 12 years. As a state-recognised school, we ensure your child earns qualifications that are officially recognised both in Germany and internationally. This opens a wide range of opportunities—whether for further studies or the start of a global career.
Our dedicated teachers bring heart and passion to their lessons, teaching in their native language - German or English. This immersive approach allows your child to develop natural bilingual skills, leaving our school confident and fluent in both languages.
We promote individual strengths and independent learning through creative learning methods as well as interdisciplinary team and project work. With this concept, we want to enable our students to acquire not only knowledge, but also the ability to learn independently, problem-solve and learn reflectively - key skills for the future.
We prioritise uninterrupted, high-quality education for your child.
In Years 7 to 10, we ensure that lessons run smoothly, even during teacher absences, with qualified substitute subject teaching. There is a separate area for the sixth form where students can use their free periods flexibly and independently to work on their own - the ideal preparation for the Abitur and the time afterwards.
With us, your child can design their own individual path to the Abitur! In addition to two advanced courses from a wide range of subjects, particularly committed students can even choose a third advanced course. This gives them additional flexibility until shortly before the Abitur when deciding which subjects they would like to take the written exams in.
Your child will thrive in a modern digital learning landscape designed to meet the demands of a connected world. Starting in Year 7, tablets—and later laptops—are integrated into their education, along with tools like MS Teams and Office 365, all supported by high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the school.
Our dedicated IT team ensures seamless functionality, promptly addressing any technical issues so your child can focus entirely on learning. With this setup, we equip them with essential digital skills for success in today’s world.
The importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in education has increased significantly in recent years. We offer our secondary school students a sound STEM education and try to prepare them optimally for the demands of the modern world. This is why our school has a focus on STEM alongside bilingualism. For example, lessons in STEM subjects are taught in English from secondary level I onwards.
We offer an attractive range of subjects that includes all three natural sciences - Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
From Year 9 onwards, Science lessons increase from four to six hours per week. In addition, we offer differentiation courses in which the advanced course in particular goes far beyond the regular science curriculum.
In upper secondary school, students can take advanced courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics for Abitur.
Our secondary school has modern specialist rooms for all science subjects. In the Science Labs and our Maker Space, students can develop freely, experiment and develop their own ideas. Topics such as robotics or 3D printing can also be explored and expand the traditional learning program.
Students with a particular interest in science have the opportunity to take part in a variety of extracurricular projects such as "Jugend forscht". They are specifically encouraged and challenged to deepen their skills and interests. We also offer popular clubs such as Game Development, Music Technology, Rollercoaster Construction and Mycology Cultivation, which open up further exciting learning and development opportunities.
In addition to Science, our students in years 7 and 8 take the one-hour subject Digital Education. From year 9 onwards, they can also choose the two-hour elective subject Media Communication. Digital exchange takes place regularly via Office 365, as all students have access to an MS Teams account from Year 4 onwards.
Mathematics is taught in four lessons per week. From Year 10, an additional profile course offers focused preparation for upper secondary school. Our math club also supports interested students in getting ready for competitions like the Mathematical Olympiad and the Kangaroo Contest.
At upper secondary level, students can choose a basic computer science course that covers topics such as program development, data protection and data security.
From Year 7 onwards, your language-enthusiastic child can attend our secondary school - even if they are not bilingual. Students receive targeted support from us and are introduced to the language requirements.
Appreciation, open-mindedness and participation - these are not just words, but lived values at our campus. Every day, we want to show your child how important these foundations are for a tolerant and liberal society.
Our bilingual teaching in German and English opens doors to a globalized world. We support your child in understanding cultural and linguistic diversity, appreciating local characteristics and recognizing global connections. In doing so, we promote independent thinking and action, encourage critical questioning and provide space for personal development.
Together, we not only strengthen their knowledge, but also the values they need to respectfully and confidently find their place in the world and commit to a positive future.
Do you have questions about our school or the administration process? We will be delighted to assist you with any queries.
