Everyday life at PhorMinis
Bilingual and diverse

We want your child to grow with confidence, joy, and a love of learning. At PhorMinis, each day is a meaningful blend of play and discovery—shaped by a warm, bilingual environment in German and English and personalised, caring support. As a certified “House of Little Scientists”, we nurture curiosity and a sense of wonder, helping your child reach their full potential and develop the motivation to thrive in their future education.

Crèche

1 - 3 years

Our crèche is a place where your child feels safe and secure and playfully explores the world of two languages. They grow at their own pace in small groups and are lovingly supported. We coordinate the care individually and promote development in a trusting exchange with you.

Elementary group

3 - 5 years

From the age of three, a wonderful new chapter begins in your child’s life—and we’re here to help shape it with care and joy. In a warm, nurturing atmosphere, we combine playful learning with thoughtful activities that spark curiosity, inspire creativity, and support your child’s unique strengths—whether cognitive, social, or motor. In our bilingual environment, German and English become a natural part of everyday life, guided gently by our dedicated and experienced educators.

Reception (preschool)

5 - 6 years

In the last year before your child starts school, we help them grow step by step into a confident and independent learner. We focus on building their self-esteem, social skills, and emotional strength—always in a way that suits their unique personality. We want each child to know what they’re good at, solve problems calmly, and get along well with others. With fun and engaging projects, we also gently support their thinking skills and ability to focus, so they feel well prepared and excited for their next big adventure: starting school.

Eating together

Healthy eating is important to us.

Sharing meals is a special part of our day. We care deeply about healthy, balanced nutrition and make sure every child enjoys fresh, organic food throughout the day – from breakfast to lunch and afternoon snack. Our meals are varied, tasty, and made with care by 'leckerlogisch.'. Of course, we always take allergies and food intolerances into account. Whenever possible, the children help choose what’s on the menu – because food tastes even better when your part of the decision!

Exploring the world – with curiosity and joy

Bilingual education, STEM education and sustainable development

At our campus, even the youngest children are supported in a way that suits their individual needs. Through bilingual learning, exciting STEM activities (science, technology, engineering, and maths), and playful projects about nature and sustainability, we help your child explore the world with curiosity and joy.

As a certified “House of Little Scientists”, we encourage children to ask questions, make discoveries, and understand how things work – all in a fun, hands-on way that’s perfect for curious little minds.

Key focuses of our reception programme

Easier transition to primary school

Familiar routines and trusted educators help your child feel safe and confident as they get ready for school. The basic skills they learn—like how to work in a group, focus on tasks, and follow simple learning steps—make the move to primary school easier and more natural.

Early language skills and support

At a young age, children learn especially quickly—and that includes learning both German and English. Because they’re already used to hearing and speaking both languages every day, they grow up naturally bilingual and benefit from this continuity as they move forward in their education.

Social and emotional development

In our Reception, children build strong communication skills, grow in self-confidence, and learn to appreciate different cultures through playful experiences in our international community. This way, we gently and lovingly prepare them for a diverse and connected world.
