Social Day: 10a

Date:
Class 10a went to “Serve the City” Berlin in Mitte, to help with the charity’s Christmas project.
We met Christine who was in charge of the project and she gave the class some information about the charity, the work they do at Christmas and what we were going to do for our time with them. Our job for the morning was to help wrap presents for children. This involved organising the presents, packing them in a certain way, and wrapping them appropriately. We mainly wrapped presents for children between the ages of 0 and 5 years old. Each present had a stationary set, a bubble making kit, a stamp, one juice drink and a soft toy. Once wrapping them we wrapped ribbon round them and put some stickers on the present. During our time with Christine, we managed to wrap all of our quota which meant we wrapped over 250 presents.
