With places in the All Berlin Finals Cross Country up for grabs, there was all run for as our students fought their way to represent the district later in the year.
Lion Schumann has an excellent race in the Y10 boy’s category, finishing in 12th position and qualifying for the finals. In a competitive race, Julian Göhre and Paul Elias were just outside of the top 20. In the girl’s equivalent race, Y10 students and Maria Ulashchenko, Natalie Tsytulskaya and Pauline Beckmann powered their way to finish in 14th, 15th and 16th place.
The younger students found the experience worthwhile, all finishing in the top 25 within their races and hungry to come back next year to improve. Well done to: Year 8 students George Zuriel, Maxim Klanten, Frederike Blome, Ceylin Selim and Johnathan Göhre. Likewise the Year 7 students also had top 25 finishes, with an outstanding performances from Lilly Elias, Lucy Bacher, Jonathan Benthin, Joel Herbst and Anthony Daskiewitsch.
