Y7 First week in Gymnasium

Thirty-four new year 7 students entered Phorms Sud Gymnasium on the 2nd of September to mark their first day at High school. In the first few days, the school organised some team-building activities around Schlactensee with the two class teachers, Mr. Kiely and Mr. Grant alongside the Y7 Sport teacher, Mr. Lipton. 
Both class teachers then joined Frau Vattes, our campus psychologist, in a workshop called "Hiking the High School". Over the past two weeks, our young Y7 students have been enjoying their lessons across the Gymnasium with their new teachers and finding their feet in the school alongside their older counterparts. This week, Mr. Kiely kicked off the buddy programme with the group, introducing the students to Y10 mentors, who will meet and support them throughout the school year. 
We look forward to a successful school year with our new Year 7 group!
