Ski Trip 2019

Datum:
36 excited students turned up at Phorms Campus Süd for knowing that they have an adventure during their first week of school. The new year brought the start of the ski trip of 2019. Three lucky adults, led by Mr. Lipton, started the long bus journey to Austria from Berlin. A last minute detour to avoid the chaos of winter weather on the roads of southern Germany brought our arrival to the hotel at 6 pm 10 hours after we left. Students made themselves comfortable in the surroundings of the hotel while we organised the ski equipment for the following day. Then everyone went to bed because the alarm clock rang at 7am the next morning.

Day two brought a fresh layer of snowfall to the hills of Seefeld, meaning the conditions to ski were perfect. The resort was bustling with excited students from many different schools. After a 4 hour ski day, with a hot lunch on the slopes, we headed back to the hotel with a few stories of our day to share with one another.

In the evening, students headed out to a local bowling alley. They enjoyed an hour of bowling competition with their group. The winners receiving a surprise later that night, a chocolate bar. Well done to Joseph (y7), Katharina (y9), Elisa (y10) and Maria (y9) who were victorious!
