Over the last few weeks class 2B has been working on 'Space and Rooms' in Topic. This has involved looking at different kinds of buildings, bird's-eye views, architectural plans and will go on to include buildings materials and different kinds of building from around the world. To conclude our work on floor plans the children created a 3D Floor Plan of a house and for the photo shoot brought in lego figures to fill the rooms.
2B has also been designing paper birds to decorate our ceiling. The children took inspiration from photographs of some of the most colourful birds from around the world and then came up with their own design and colour scheme. The ceiling of our classroom is now much brighter and more full of life.
